"Elegant harp music for your special events"
I
play many weddings and receptions each year, and I have a free demo tape
if you are interested in having a harp play for you wedding, reception,
bridal luncheon, or rehearsal dinner.
During
the wedding the music is usually as follows:
1) 30 minutes prelude music (your choice, or I can choose according
to your taste)
2) music for seating of mothers, grandmothers or other honored guests
3) Processional for the bridal party
4) a different processional for the bride
5) music during the ceremony, such as the "Lord's Prayer" or "All I
Ask of You"
6) Recessional for the couple, the bridal party and the family to leave,
and then continue playing until the guests have left the area.
Prelude favorites
include Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring, Vivaldi's Four Seasons, Greensleeves,
The Gift of Love, the Lord's Prayer, Ave Maria, Pachelbel Canon and hymns.
In non-church settings love songs or Celtic music are appropriate.
For
background music, such as rehearsal dinner or reception, I usually play
show tunes and classic popular songs: pieces from Sound of Music, Phantom
of the Opera, or well known pieces like "Unforgettable."
